Jensen JMC600 is a vertical wall mountable AM/FM PLL digital stereo system with CD, cassette deck, EQ and multi-function remote control. JMC600 micro music system mounts on wall for perfect low-profile installation. It features a vertical loading compact disc player, full auto-stop vertical cassette deck, and electromotive sealing panel. The deck provides ALC (automatic level control) cassette recording and synchro recording from CD.JMC600 offers multi-function digital backlit display, clock with timer/sleep function, 4-mode preset EQ, and digital volume control. This stereo system is provided with 20-track programmable memory, and AM/FM receiver with 20 AM and 20 FM presets and PLL tuning. the bass has almost completely gone missing.CD functions seem okay.but my biggest issue is with the FM. it's deaf.

off to the salvation army it goes. my XM receiver "broadcasting" on FM can't be found from just across the kitchen.so for me, this was a wasted purchase.

given the price, i wasn't expecting alot. unless the radio station is a 50,000 watt blowtorch, this thing can't hear it.

back to my 1960 Zenith stereo FM receiver using with my CD player and XM receiver. this beautiful looking piece of junk still disappointed.the fidelity and fullness of the sound just isn't there.

i live about 2 miles from one radio and tv antenna farm and 5 miles from another.

The CD stopped playing after five to ten minutes and the funny thing was that I didn't use the timer or sleep feature. I didn't expect to get a superb sound from it because of its price. Can't wait to replace it and I certainly will not buy another Jensen product It was annoying. But I was really disappointed with Jensen's quality control. It was fine the first year I bought it but now it had problems.

P.S. However, to get most out of all the features (e.g. pre-programming a radio station), you would need to have the instruction manual opened before you and, even then, is complicated. Although sleek looking, the Jensen name doesn't deliver here. Less than 6 months after removing the stereo from its box brand new, I report that the stereo is now dead (turns on but no sound). The songs from the rock station that my kids listen to had good bass and more 'omph'. My classical CDs don't sound full; in fact, rather hollow. Getting the stereo set up is easy and the control buttons are not hard to figure out.
